Citizen Skull was founded by Mark Myers to produce better horror features. However, he quickly found himself producing a variety of features and also a lot of unscripted television. Therefore, Citizen Skull grew to develop and produce a range of feature films, documentaries and unscripted content. The constant is to elevate the storytelling and production value for all distribution platforms and price points. We don’t pull any punches. We just develop and deliver great content. Citizen Skull has continued to grow and thrive by drawing upon the experience of its principals — Mark Myers and Heather Kenyon. Mark’s background as an actor led him to establish Citizen Skull Management, a boutique management company centered on finding and nurturing diverse talent. Having experienced a bad manager or two in his day — he wanted to create something smarter for the creatives of our world. With talent, literary, below the line and voice over, we support a range of artists. Citizen Kids, with a focus on kids and family content, was founded next, drawing on animation industry veteran Heather’s experience. The #MeToo movement brought about our most recent label, Citizen Dame — bringing the stories of formidable women to the screen.
