Lead by Nikki Dionne, Citizen Dame is our newest addition. Citizen Dame Productions is shining a light on relatable and aspirational female characters through storytelling. We are bringing back the heyday of the Rom-Com. Think Nancy Meyers and Gary Marshall, but maybe on a budget. In addition, Citizen Dame is also bringing adult dramedy and family friendly dramas to screens. As we grow, we look to broaden our scope of films to include other genres with positive transformational themes. Stories that start with a lost soul needing to reinvent themselves or an outsider finding their way. We want to see more films that inspire joy and healing, so why not make them ourselves?

Citizen Dame has not only a great opportunity but also a responsibility to create inclusive and diverse films. We can do that both on the page and on set with our above the line and below the line hiring choices. We aim to create community, opportunity, and amplify voices that are in alignment with our mission. Let's make films that help people relate, connect, heal and feel good. Most of all, let's have fun doing it!
