Mark Myers founded Citizen Skull Productions in 2010, predominately to focus on independent feature films.  However, the boom of unscripted entertainment opened a door and this genre was quickly added to the company’s roster.  Now Citizen Skull has grown to develop and produce scripted features and television, documentaries and unscripted projects. This is all a culmination of Mark’s path through the entertainment industry.

 Leaving Tacoma, Washington, right after high school, Mark went to New York City to study at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.  Later, Mark was one of the founders of an edgy sketch group, which was featured at the HBO Aspen Comedy Arts Festival.  From there, Mark started doing some writing; a bit of everything - from advertising campaigns to animation to horror films.  It was here that he first began working as a producer and realized that this was his calling.

 Having started his career as an actor, Mark launched Citizen Skull Management in 2016 in order to offer the type of common sense guidance and support he saw missing in the industry.  Eager to support emerging and underrepresented talent, Mark enjoys working with both actors and writers to bring new voices to the table.  This led naturally to adding our latest division, Citizen Dame.

Mark looks forward to growing and running the teams at Citizen Skull for many years to come, bringing new stories into being.
